The beloved and inspiring 'Music Midweek' series returns to Central in 2026!

This series brings together talented musicians and storytellers from Traverse City and beyond to share their gifts and unique journeys.

This ongoing series will take place on the third Wednesday of every month and will highlight
diverse voices and perspectives in music and storytelling, including performances and special
presentations.

2026 Music Midweek season:

• January 21: Jazz music with Jeff Haas featuring Bruce Dondero on bass and Will Harris on drums
• February 18: Julie Schleif Horn Group
• March 18 – Jerry Young (Northern Lower Brass Group)
• April 15 -Michael Coonrod, Chris Lane
• May 20 - Dr. Barbara Slagel

“Our Music Midweek Series is a chance for the community to hear from artists about how music
connects them to the sacred. It’s a blend of music and sharing,” says Lead Pastor Linda
Stephan. The series is free and open to the public, inviting all to experience an evening of fellowship,
inspiration, and artistry. Donations in support of the series are invited but not required.
